We are seeking motivated individuals who are able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, always changing environment with attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to work cooperatively with others.

Much of our residential work takes us to Sudbury, Wayland, Concord, Wellesley, and Newton, but we do often travel to the more Northern and Southern parts of the state. It is important that applicants have reliable transportation to get to the shop in Hudson, MA each day and possibly travel to various work sites.

Training The Next Generation of Electrical Contractors
Downing Electric is proud to partner with two local vocational schools by participating in their co-op programs. Students get hands-on ‘real world’ experience in their chosen field with alternating weeks spent in the field and classroom.
Our co-op students are eager to learn, hard-working, and are so lucky to be gaining their experience from true professionals who take a lot of pride in their work. Their futures are very bright and we are thrilled to play a very small role in starting them on a path to success and unlimited growth.
